Jennifer Padilla has more than 20 years of experience in the communications field, from working in the advertising department at The Washington Post, to implementing marketing and public relations work for The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum; from creating public relations plans and securing visible media coverage for her own clients at Jennifer Padilla Public Relations, to her role for three years at JLH Media, disseminating key messages for a diverse group of clients through robust media relations and other communications strategies.

Previous to establishing and growing her own small business, Ms. Padilla served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at The Lensic, Santa Fe’s Performing Arts Center, as Assistant Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and as a Production Coordinator at the Washington Post Magazine.

After working for The Post from 1996 to 2000, Ms. Padilla returned to New Mexico to pursue her career in marketing and public relations. She delivers excellent customer service and was a recipient of The Washington Post Publisher’s Award for Excellence in Customer Service, Fourth Quarter 1999.

​Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Jennifer spent the first five years of her life in Yokota, Japan, and subsequently grew up in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She has a BA in English from the University of New Mexico.

Prior to working with JPPR, Christina worked for a boutique public relations firm, securing exposure for clients through national media outlets in TV, radio and print. She has travelled extensively internationally and spent time living in London working in the Press Office of the Royal Opera House. 

While working in the luxury real estate field, she was fortunate enough to provide content marketing strategies and services for some of the world’s most distinctive luxury real estate resort properties. 

Christina has also provided event management planning and coordination for a New York firm that produced software negotiation seminars to the Fortune 100, as well as an international NGO based in India for their annual fundraising events in New Mexico.

Christina earned her MBA in Finance and BA in Arts & Entertainment Management while working for many startups and nonprofits in Santa Fe.
